Conference programme

The conference programme is now available for download here. We are excited that we have been able to put together a very interesting programme to celebrate BAEL’s 20 year anniversary, including two keynote lectures by Prof. Dr Susanne Niemeier (Koblenz), whose topic is "Cognitive grammar meets task-based language teaching" and Prof. Dr Christopher J. Hall (York), who will talk about "The many meanings of English: An ontological framework for Applied English Linguistics".

Celebrate with us!

We are moving forward with our plans for the Seventh Bonn Applied English Linguistics Conference. The focus of this year’s conference will be Language Learning and Teaching with a special focus on the role of pragmatics. This year we have two keynote speakers Prof. Dr Susanne Niemeier and Prof. Dr Christopher J. Hall. Prof. Niemeier's topic will be "Cognitive grammar meets task-based language teaching" and Prof. Hall will talk about "The many meanings of English: An ontological framework for Applied English Linguistics"
