MA Welcome Event 2023
Welcome!
Dear Master-Erstis,
We are thrilled to extend a warm and enthusiastic welcome to you as a new member of our Applied Linguistics degree program here at the University of Bonn. Your journey to academic excellence and personal growth begins here, and we are excited to have you on board!
To kickstart your journey and help you connect with fellow students and faculty, we have organized a special welcome event on Monday, October 9th at 12 pm. Your mentors (Alina and Swantje) will join you after your first lecture in room 1.006 (Am Hof 3-5, 53113 Bonn). This event is designed for you to meet your peers, ask questions, and learn about our campus and discover Bonn with us in a little city tour. A relaxed lunch at 2 pm is the perfect opportunity to meet not only your fellow Master's degree students but also students from higher years who can share their experiences and insights with you.
In addition to our little event, we encourage you to explore the following welcome events.
Thursday, October 5th, 09:30 am – 12:30 pm: Welcome Event and Info Booths for All New International Students organized by Section 6.3 International Students and Study Programs, Kreuzbergweg 28, 53115 Bonn
Friday, October 6th, 01:30 pm: Welcome Days Info Event: Free-Time Activities + City Tour organized by Section 6.3 International Students and Study Programs, Kreuzbergweg 28, 53115 Bonn
Wednesday, October 11th, 5 pm: Master Meets organized by the student representatives of the IAAK, Hofgarten, 53113 Bonn
